31 January 2019 – VFS STEM Initiatives

The Arizona Chapter of the Vertical Flight Society will be hosting a STEM Event at the Sheraton Mesa Hotel at Wrigleyville from 5pm-8pm. The event features a tour of the TREC Advanced Spaceflight Laboratory Mobile Flight Simulator for STEM Education, as well as a talk with Mike Hirschberg, Executive Director of Vertical Flight Society International, speaking on VFS STEM Initiatives. Appetizers will be provided.

7 September 2018 – “Aerospace Opportunities in Arizona” by Moses Koyabe

 

Are you interested in coming to a Vertical Flight Society event but can’t make a formal dinner meeting? Introducing Tech Talks, a new event format for 2018! Tech Talks are informal happy hours featuring a quick technical talk, followed by socializing and networking opportunities. Our inaugural Tech Talk will occur on September 7th at 5:30pm, at Macayo’s at 300 S Ash Ave, Tempe,  AZ. Our featured speaker is Moses Koyabe from the Aerospace Arizona Association. His talk will focus on the diverse aerospace activities in Arizona. Appetizers will be provided so come hungry! The event will be $10.
